Fibre Enhanced Concrete

Chelmix Readymixed Concrete can be enhanced by the addition of polypropylene fibres to the concrete mix. This will reduce plastic cracking and mean that there is no need to put crack control wire mesh into the foundation or paving. It gives greater durability and makes paving impact and abrasion resistant.

Collecting your Concrete

Collecting Chelmix Readymixed Concrete from your nearest plant

You can collect Chelmix Readymixed concrete simply by phoning your nearest plant and placing your order. Payment can be made by credit/debit card or by cash.

The smallest amount our plants can mix is 0.5m3 which will weigh approximately 1.1 tonnes.

Health and safety

Contact with concrete may cause irritation or alkali burns. There is serious risk of damage to eyes. Wear suitable waterproof protective clothing, gloves and eye/face protection. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with clean water and seek medical advice. Wash any areas of skin that come into contact with concrete immediately.
